Charges are pending against a suspected burglar who had to be rescued from the Genesee River Gorge Saturday night.
Rochester police say they were called to a possible burglary on Dewey Avenue just before 8 p.m. when they saw two men leaving the scene.
Police followed footprints, and found one of the suspects fell about a hundred feet down the gorge. The Rochester Fire Department had to use a rope to pull him up. Police say the man had hypothermia and was checked out at Strong Hospital.
His name has not yet been released, but police say he is a 20-year old city resident.
