Police say 49-year old Darnell Lowery was stabbed around 3 p.m. Wednesday following a fight with a group of people in front of a store near Siebert Place. Police say a concerned citizen alerted an officer, who called an ambulance.

Lowery was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with serious injuries, but died a short time later.

An employee at the store near the crime scene said investigators were viewing video from cameras both inside and outside the store.

No arrests have been made. Police are asking anyone with information to call 911.
