Camp Good Days and Special Times celebrated some of its volunteers and supporters Friday night.
More than 40 people were recognized for their commitment and dedication to the foundation at the A Night of Gratitude event.
Some volunteers received a Teddi Award for their commitment within the past year and others were inducted into Ring of Honor, a recognition given to those who have helped serve the community for many years.
"This is one of my favorite nights of the year because it's not a fundraiser, it's not a lot of pressure. It's a chance for us as an organization to honor some extraordinary men and women who do so much throughout the year to make all that we do possible. They go above and beyond that I think any not-for-profit has the right to expect," said Gary Mervis, founder of Camp Good Days.
County Executive Maggie Brooks, Congresswoman Louise Slaughter, and the University of Rochester football team were among the list of Teddi Award recipients.
