Ontario County Woman Faces Animal Cruelty Charges
An Ontario County woman is facing animal cruelty charges after sheriff's deputies and members of the humane society found the remains from a three-month-old puppy.
Deputies arrested Ann Marie Hudson, 40, of Shortsville. Hudson is accused of failing to seek medical attention for her puppy after it had been vomiting for several times a day over the past month.
The puppy's remains were found in a neighbor's garbage tote.
Hudson will appear in Manchester Town Court at a later date.
