Yates County Men Face Drug Charges Following Investigation
Two Yates County men face drug charges from a joint investigation between the Penn Yan Police Department and State Police.
Police say Jeffrey Kearns, 24, sold crack cocaine and heroin while Zacharie Hicks, 21, is accused of selling cocaine and heroin.
Police executed a search warrant at both men's houses and found cocaine, steroids, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, cash and surveillance equipment.
Charges are also likely against Hicks because police say he sold drugs within 1,000 feet of a day care or school.
