Mother Injured in Chili Fire Continues to Make Progress
A woman injured during a January fire in her Chili home has been upgraded from guarded to satisfactory condition at Strong Hospital.
Kaitlyn Ogg, 25, was rescued from the fire that started in the basement of her home.
Sheriff's deputies say a postal worker saw black smoke coming from the back of the home and called 911.
Firefighters rescued Kaitlyn Ogg, Kaitlyn's children, four-year-old RJ Lockwood and seven-month-old Mara Ogg, and her mother, 67-year-old Judy Ogg.
RJ and Judy have since been released from Strong.
Mara remains at the hospital in Satisfactory condition.
