Bell-bottoms, afros, wigs and platform shoes were all the rage at Saturday's Ugly Disco fundraiser.

Money was raised for Golisano Children's Hospital at the University of Rochester Medical Center.

In the past 10 years, the Ugly Disco has raised thousands of dollars for the children's hospital.

Last year alone, $28,000 was raised in support of the Pediatric Supportive Care Program and the Bright Eyes Fund.

"This is our tenth anniversary, and our committee decided for the next couple years we donated sufficient funds to supply a new room for the Golisano Children's Hospital," said Allen Lagonegro, President of Ugly Disco. "We've had a great turn out this year, I think we broke all records this year. In fact I know we did."

The Ugly Disco team committed $100,000 for the future children's hospital, with $20,000 of the funds raised Saturday will go toward fulfilling the pledge.
