More than 200 people were at the Marketplace Mall Sunday for the annual Walk for Wellness to support Gilda's club.
The event raises money for newer programs for the children and teenagers of Gilda's Club.
They had many health and wellness activities including massage therapists, chiropractors and jazzercise instructors.
The executive director of Gilda's Club says it's important to get together for cancer because the disease affects nearly everyone.
"It's hard to throw a stone and not hit somebody that's been touched by cancer," said Executive Director Bob Russell. "You're looking at a large number of diagnosis' each year in the Monroe County area and I think it's a way for people to help support something that touches them one way or another."
Organizers hoped to raise $30,000 from the walk.
