People with disabilities and staff from numerous local ARC chapters are heading to Albany Tuesday morning to let lawmakers know their concerns about budget cuts.
Advocates have been trying to draw attention to Governor Cuomo's proposed $240 million in funding cuts for programs and services for the developmentally disabled.
They say the cuts threaten the quality of life for people who need those services.
Advocates are calling on the State Senate and Assembly to restore funding. Monroe, Genesee, Ontario, Orleans, Wayne, Wyoming and Yates counties will be represented at the rally.
