Multiple fire departments were called to an early morning barn fire in Genesee County.
It happened just before 3 a.m. on Route 20 in the town of Bethany.
Bethany firefighters say a homeowner called 911 to report the fire. When fire crews arrived, one side of the barn was fully engulfed in flames.
The Bethany fire chief says there were some difficulties getting to water, but once they were able to access it, firefighters were able to put the fire out quickly.
"Getting the water here, like I said the draft sites were pretty muddy to get to. Some of them are off the roads quite a ways, as they were put in from the beginning quite a ways off the road," said Joe Fluker, Bethany Fire Chief.
No one was hurt in the fire. Firefighters are working to determine a cause.
