Monroe County GOP Nominates Attorney for Family Court Judge
The Monroe County Republican Party announced its candidate for Family Court Judge at a Friday morning press conference.
Attorney Jim Walsh Has been an attorney for 16 years, and has served on the counsel to Monroe County Sheriff Patrick O'Flynn.
Early in his career as a Monroe County Assistant District Attorney Walsh was assigned to represent and advocate for victims of domestic violence.
Walsh has been married for 23 years and has two daughters.
The seat became vacant when Judge Gail A. Donofrio was elected to the State Supreme Court in November.
No word yet on who Monroe County Democrats will nominate.
