Woman Charged in Hit & Run Incident
State Police arrested two Rochester residents involved in an alcohol-related hit and run on Saturday.
State troopers arrested Chelsea Gelo, 21, for leaving the scene of an accident and DWI after she allegedly hit a car on Pearl Street and left.
She was a backseat passenger when police stopped the car on North Goodman Street, but troopers say she later admitted to switching drivers after the accident.
She had a blood alcohol level of 0.18.
The driver that troopers say switched places with Gelo, Robert Pixley, 54, was also charged with DWI.
