Police Substation Proposed for Sibley Building Approved
A $1 million proposal for a police substation inside the Sibley Building has passed Rochester City Council. The proposal passed Tuesday evening by a vote of 6-3.
The substation will be on the first floor of the Sibley Building on North Clinton Avenue, and would call for a number of officers and RPD staff at the new location.
Police say the amount of crime in the area has increased.
