Wayne County Woman Arrested Under Leandra's Law
A Wayne County woman is facing charges for driving under the influence of drugs and crashing into a tree with a child in the car.
Macedon Police say Erin Homer, 27, of Palmyra lost control on Route 350, hit the railroad tracks and then crashed head-on into a tree, all while her six year old child was in the car.
Police say Homer was under the influence of narcotics.
Homer was charged with Leandra's Law, felony DWI for having a previous conviction, driving while ability impaired by drugs and other vehicle and traffic charges.
She was taken to the hospital and is scheduled to appear in Macedon Town Court next week.
