Irondequoit Police Increasing Patrols After Girl Approached at Bus Stop
The Irondequoit Police Department said it will increase patrols in the East Irondequoit School District after an encounter a student had with a suspicious person.

Police said a teenage girl was walking home from her bus stop at Shelford and Falstaff roads around 5:45 p.m. Thursday.

Police said a man in a red-colored compact vehicle approached the girl and asked her how old she was and where she was going. Police said the girl made it to her house safely and the car left.

Police ask anyone who sees the vehicle to call 911.
