Geraci Sworn In As Federal Judge
The Honorable Frank Geraci Jr. has officially been sworn in as a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Western District of New York.
Judge Geraci was nominated by Senator Chuck Schumer in February 2012 to serve on the U.S. District Court.
Geraci has served the Rochester-area as a judge for more than 20 years, in both City and County Courts.
His career in Rochester began in the Monroe County District Attorney's office a Special Assistant District Attorney, then as Assistant United States Attorney in the Western District of New York.
Geraci graduated from McQuaid Jesuit High School in Brighton, and received his law degree from the University of Dayton.
He is filling the vacancy left by the Honorable David Larimer who retired last year.
