Achieve Results
To survive in today's business climate it takes more than just a good idea or a good product. A small business in Pittsford has survived over the past 10 years by "achieving results" for its clients and helping them save money.

"Typing is very quickly becoming obsolete," said Dana Abramson, Achieve Results Corp.

Why type when you can speak?

“Why would you sit at your keyboard and take the time to hit one key at a time when you can could just very conveniently sit in front of a microphone and speak," Abramson asked.

The average person types 35 words a minute with 90 to 94 percent accuracy.

Through the Dragon NaturallySpeaking computer software a person can achieve 130 words a minute with 98 percent accuracy.

"You can get your e-mails, your Word documents, your spreadsheets done four times faster," Abramson explained.

Abramson started "Achieve Results" 10 years ago when she discovered some were having a hard time using the software.

“I’m doing a brief demonstration of the Dragon NaturallySpeaking software. Period," she said.

Her real-time patent pending technique has brought in clients from New York City to Florida.

"We have virtually anyone up and running using the software in less than an hour," said Abramson.

She said clients are amazed at how easy the software is to use.

"We encourage you to speak at your normal pace and your normal pitch. This software is going to adapt itself to your volume and to your pitch," said Adam Cronkite, systems engineer.

The Pittsford company now has six employees and if the business continues to grow, Abramson may have to hire more.

"We feel right now we're at our tipping point,” she said.

Abramson said that to make it in a bad economy you have to offer something that is guaranteed to improve a client’s bottom line.

"To gain three hours a day in productivity – it’s self-explanatory."
