Expanded services are available in Rochester now for those with learning disabilities and other developmental issues.
LDA Life and Learning Services held an open house at the agency's new offices on South Avenue. LDA helps families and children who may be struggling with any number of issues, including ADHD and other developmental disabilities.
"The pace and scope of change in our industry is breathtaking. New York State can no longer support the services it has been. They're unsustainable. We're moving to a managed care environment and it's challenging. But LDA is positioned; we're ready to do it," said Colin Garwood, LDA Executive Director.
LDA is a not-for-profit agency that has been in the community for five decades.
