The force is with the Strong now that its selected two more favorites for the National Toy Hall of Fame.
A national selection committee narrowed down the thousands of nominations. The two winners and this year's inductees are: Star Wars Action Figures and Dominoes.
The committee chose the two toys from 12 finalists.
Star Wars and all its merchandise have changed the toy industry and are still popular today.
Dominoes are the oldest known tools for game play, dating back to China in the 1300's."They have come more than 20 lines of Star Wars since 1978 and they have sold more than 300,000 million action figures. The figures are iconic and they have longevity, but they made it; they are home," said Patricia Hogan, curator.
Fifty-one toys have made it into the National Toy Hall of Fame.
Some of the toys already in include Barbie, Big Wheel, Candy Land, checkers, Crayola Crayons, Easy-Bake Oven, Etch A Sketch, Monopoly and Mr. Potato Head.
