Ontario County Sheriff Phil Povero says his office received new information that appears to be related to the disappearance of Adam Chase.

Sheriff's deputies began searching Chase's home on Mott Road in Stanley around 5:30 p.m. Thursday. They also searched a second undisclosed location where remains were found. Investigators are trying to determine whether or not the remains are human.

"We're not sure what we've found, at this point, and again, we're looking to try and determine through some medical assistance exactly what we've got," Povero said.

The 32-year-old Chase has been missing since June 14th. He was last seen leaving his home on foot after an argument with his wife.

Povero says investigators are talking to several people, including Chase's wife.

"At this time, there are no persons that have been charged with any crime. Several persons, including Adam Chase's wife, are being interviewed this evening."
