In pursuit of a cure for a debilitating condition, hundreds gathered at the Rochester Riverside convention center Saturday night for the 3rd annual Cystic Fibrosis Christmas Ball.
The ball is sponsored by Cystic Fibrosis Family Connection.
This year's ball was held in honor of Jenna Simonetti, who recently was released from the hospital after a month-long fight with cystic fibrosis.
Organizers credit Jenna as their inspiration.
"There's no cure for cystic fibrosis and...I mean, that's a problem. And that's why we're all here. We come here to celebrate for Jenna, and for a cure," said Louie Maier, Ball Organizer.
Last year's Cystic Fibrosis Ball raised over $30,000.
