After arranging flower bouquets, plants and corsages for more than three decades, Arc Floral in Rochester announced its Mt. Hope Avenue shop will close at the end of the month.
The Arc of Monroe County operates the shop and provides assistance to people with developmental disabilities.
Steve Chartrand, CEO of The Arc Foundation said business at the flower shop has slowed and recent losses have been difficult to make up.
Arc Floral has employed dozens of developmentally disabled individuals. It currently employs eight people including two with developmental disabilities.
Arc Floral will close June 30.
