Breezy Today, Changes Arriving Tonight
Colder Air Returns for the Weekend
Any sun will fade to increasing clouds today as an arctic cold front works in from the west. Temperatures will remain on the mild side with highs in the 30s.
This arctic cold front will swing through later this evening through tonight with area-wide flurries and snow showers. Much colder air will drain in behind this front with highs only around 20 Saturday. There will be lingering flurries during the first half of the day. A reinforcing shot of cold air will arrive Saturday night into Sunday morning with more chances for snow, including some lake effect. Highs Sunday will be in the teens to near 20 degrees.
Just like we’ve seen throughout this winter, this shot of cold air will be quick to leave with temperatures getting back to above average levels by the middle of next week.
Have a great Friday!
